Children from years 3 and 4 were allowed to enjoy a day of cycling around the Nene Valley Playground.  Most already had some good bike handling skills.

However, learning to ride in groups, using both brakes and indicating changes of direction are all essential skills to keep you safe.

It is always great to see bikes in school, especially now the weather is better.  What biking adventures will they now talk their parents into?  A lap of Rutland Water maybe?  Or maybe a trip to Ferry Meadows - all the way there and back on cycle paths is beautiful.
