  • Year 5 do DNA!

    On Thursday 22nd June Year 5 children became DNA scientists for the day.

    As well as meeting several scientists (who didn't look like scientists), the children got to see a million pound machine, which was extracting DNA for the scientists to study.

    Last Thursday Nene Valley took part in the country dancing competition.  Mrs Allen and Mrs Laws worked hard at lunchtimes for several weeks to ensure everyone knew the dances and moves.  A great thanks to them for their efforts.

  • FONV Spring Disco

    Another success for the FONV.  Who raised a massive £1,358.07 through the disco.  This is the most that they have ever raised at a disco, so a massive thank you to all the volunteers for their support and a huge well done to the chair for her service.  This along with the Easter squares meant over £1,500 was raised in April alone!
