Year 3 and 4 delved into history on Thursday 12th October, seeking all things Egyptian.
The Community Centre Cross Country Run
On Monday 10th July; Nene Valley, Woodston and Orton Wistow all took part in a fund raising effort for MacMillan. OWN Trust - OWN Trust Charity Day 10th July 2023 (own-trust.education)
The Friends of Nene Valley (FONV) organised a superb event on Saturday 24th June.
As a result of all the journeys to school during 'Bike to School Week' Nene Valley won a visit from world champion Danny Butler. Mr Plummer 'volunteered' to be the extra in a few tricks!
On Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th June, Nene Valley Primary took their Sports Day to the local community centre. It was an amazing success with children busy all throughout.
On Thursday 22nd June Year 5 children became DNA scientists for the day.
As well as meeting several scientists (who didn't look like scientists), the children got to see a million pound machine, which was extracting DNA for the scientists to study.
KS1 Hunstanton Visit
Last Thursday Nene Valley took part in the country dancing competition. Mrs Allen and Mrs Laws worked hard at lunchtimes for several weeks to ensure everyone knew the dances and moves. A great thanks to them for their efforts.
